about

I went to Lincoln University for six years studying for a Master’s degree in Agronomy. After graduating I spent 14 years working as a scientist for MAF research in the South Island High Country (Tara Hills) and the East Coast Hill Country. Next I became a plant breeder for Dalgety AgResearch in Timaru. I was awarded a post graduate degree in Hortculture from Massey University.

I am the owner of Waihi Bush Organic Farm - the name of my premium organic brand made by my business Functonal Whole Foods. My passion for understanding of the agricultural industry and  the nutritonal science arena has lead to the innovation of all my products leading onto the inspiration for my book.

Why EAT BUTTER

and not Margarine!

It’s the slippery argument that’s divided researchers for decades – is butter or margarine better for our health?

When it comes to flavour, rich, creamy butter wins every time and because it is full fat, it is more satisfying and fills us up for longer.

Butter is also one of the best dietary sources of Vitamin A, and also contains vitamins E, K and D and is a rich source of selenium. Are you convinced to stop eating margarine well read our eBook and enter the debate!
